I got BRIDGSTONE 30" and I'm happy sofar, on roads are good as no nise coming, in sands are good too.
Also, for the price are very good, as I got mine for Dhs.280.

I tend to agree with saleem. So far, I would have only trusted the BFG All Terrain but I must admit that I had a pleasant surprise with the latest Bridgestone Desert Dueler.....

I have had my existing BFG since June 2002, no complaints sand or rocks. If you go with Bridgestone, be careful at 25,000 or 30,000 Km, you might hear a big bang on the highway, this is a known issue, not me talking, it happened to a lot of members, yet some members were ok.

Apparently they have come out with a new thread pattern that is supposed to be better than the old one. Guy at tyre express said so and even showed me the diff. Must admit they do look much better than the older ones. However am skeptical about big bangs on the road so would stick to the Michellins or BFG's. Anyone using Maxxis? How are they?

Latest hard core experience: BFG M/T 285x75x16 v/s Bridgestone 9.00x16 = same performance in the higghest dunes and softest sand. Difference: BFG has more pulling power when it comes to pull a stuck car and Bridgestone has consumed about 15% less fuel. These are facts that can help you choosing your next tires....

hmm, I don't really agree with you guys. I have BFG AT 35" on my TJ, and those are fine on sand as far as you air down properly to 10+-1PSI. On the other hand I believe the Goodyear Wrangler MTR are the best so far. Im running those on my H2 and believe you me I run them at 20psi without getting stuck (however the size here does matter....40" tall tires!!)
