Very nice Fouad, congratulations on your new vehicle. Looks the part for sure and look forward to hearing how it performs in the desert.
One question though, where did you get it from?
I have been looking around for a while now but to no avail, was offered a H3 last week for 225,000Dhs a bit steep don't you think considering Mannai Trading in Doha is offering them for about 130,000QR base model and 160,000 for the Lux spec!
Anyhow, would appreciate any comments or information as we are currently looking to replace our Blazer ready for the new season.
Regards, Simon.

Hey Simon, it's been a while. At this stage I can't say where I got it from wooooo....mystery But what I can say is, wait a month or two and the problem will be solved in the UAE. The price starts at 115,000 Dhs upto 140,000 Dhs for the top of the line models. 115K is for the manual with standard package and the 140K is for the automatic with full option including the ZM6 offroad package. ZM6 on the H3 is equivalent to ZR2 on the Blazer except that all H3s are 4-doors so dont worry. surprisingly the automatic is more powerful than the Manual funny isn't it ? But I strongly urge you to wait a couple of months, you'll get it with above mentioned prices (+or- 10%)with dealer warranty and all I have more surprises coming soon Fouad

Thanks for the info Fouad, with that said I think we'll hang on for a while. Its going to be a long month or two's wait I guess but worth it in the end. Keep me posted on any developments you "mysteriously" come to know about on the H3.
Cheers,
Simon.

Mr man, its was nice seeing you last Friday in your ride mate. Dude your ride sure looks gr8 and not to mention you sporting a new look. That was Nadim & Carol you were out with right? Frankly i was kinda surprised to see the H3. It looks bigger than the photos in the magazines but certainly looks as though no mods required. Keep us posted on the progress man. As you said once, you cant judge a 4x4 worthiness unless you have driven it in the desert a few years. But at least tell us how it performed on Friday or is that write up reserved for the mag.
Hey speaking about the mag haven't seen that for quite a while. Is it still around or stopped.

Hi Bryan, nice seing you too. yes that was Carol and Nadim with me, we were kinda testing the H3. Magazine has stopped for a while but will resume very soon. The H3 was great, I loved it, some people in the US compained it is underpowered, I didnt notice that to be a problem, yes it could use more power, but as it is it's "adequate" let me say. I went through high dunes and didnt get stuck once. I was disappointed at the tires however, they are 265 goodyear wrangler. very bad tire. The H3 is fully equipped to accept 33 inches without any modifications. I think I will go for BFG KO with 285s. other than that the H3 rides like a dream. I specially wanted to test the temperature. I had the AC on at all times and outsode tyemp was 45-48 ? I had the engine on all afternoon. Remember when I saw you at the petrol station, from then on till 10:00 PM at night the engine + ac was on all the time engine temrerature never budged a bit. I have to admit, I dont have that on my Blazer. Fouad

thanks all of you guys, I took it few times to the desert it's really good. I like it. At least I have my AC on all the time I just installed new bigger tires, it comes OEM with 32 inch goodyear...yukkk...very lousy tire, I just installed bigger 33 inch tires from BFG. Wanna hear a trick, after I installed the 33 inches, NO REALIGNMENT or tire BALANCE required. the H3 comes originally with 33 inch tires, but because Saudi doesnt allo 33 inch OEM tires, they brought it down to 32 inch. but the vehicle is tuned for 33, no adjutment required after you install 33s. Fouad
