DG... You can put a tube in side it... SO it's not tubeless anymore....Yes It won't be safe to drive with it for long distances... but u at least can use it as a spare tyre...

DG, I am sorry, but tubless tyres are not made for tubes tyres, the construction of the tyre is different - be carefull. Buy a new tyre, it's not abig deal, but your safety, even as sparetyre. Most of the accidents in the UAE are because of tyres and the other ones of speeding.

Oh man, tubes are fine in tyres. When I punctured mine, I put a tube in it. The only reason a tube will fail is if you do not remove completely what caused the punctre!

I had tubes in my Grandtreks. And I had a blowout at 130 kmph on Hatta Rd. That was the end of an otherwise good Grandtrek (400dh) so I don't use tubes anymore.... I also had a hole in one of my Siamtyre Sandtyres. The shop refused to patch the hole and put in a tube which went flat the next day. So I patched the hole myself. That was 8 months ago.. Really I don't like tubes...

That's weird, I've always put tubes in my tyres when I get a puncture, and I've never had a problem. The only thing I can think of is, did you check your pressure after the tyre shop, my shop mega over-fills tyres, unbelievable. Last time mine was filled to like 50-something, which was 10 psi above max pressure on the tyre!! Maybe bigger wheels are affected more by tubes, not sure.
