Fouad. Have you had any chance to test drive the New Discovery LRS?? They have only imprted the high end very fancy one for the rich dudes. They had no idea when the one for the ordinary people would be available.

There is no LR3 for the ordinary, there might be a version with a smaller engine (Diesel or V6) for 2006, but the current one is the best one there is. Yes I have tested in Scotland back in September 2004, you can view the videos on the main page of www.uae4x4.com I was VERY impressed, it's a good vehicle, but too luxurious and toooooooo much dependant on electronics. I asked the LR engineers : how long can these eletronics remain reliable ? "no comment".... so I guess the current models still have no real feedback. I can tell you the car is good although it does not justify the high price, but as performance it's VERY good even. As for relaibility, I cannot say anything before 2-3 years, I cannot put a grade mark on reliability when a vehicle is brand new, it has to have 100,000 or 2-3 years of ffroad abuse before you can say "it's reliable".
