I hate to talk about stuff I haven't tested myself, but I think their performance is really superior when it comes to snow. snow is at thed frozen water and soes not damage the mattracks.
But when it comes to Sand which causes friction to metal parts, and mattracks has a lot of metal parts.
So on the short term yes the mattracks may be superior, but when looking into any equioment doon't just look at the purchasing cost, but always consider 1) maintenance cost and 2) modofication cost (ie. what do you have to modify to fit this equipment, ring and pinion, stronger axless...etc)
The other drawback on mattracks is : are they street legal ??
With boggers and bedlocks, you dont have to think about these issues, except maybe ring & pinion.
